DAVID NAIL has been very open about his lifelong battle with depression . . . and he clearly wants to keep the dialogue going.
He posted a heartfelt letter yesterday on Instagram that was honest . . . and hopeful. He talked about how depression is something that's always in the back of his mind, and he has no idea when it's going to surface.
Quote, "Someone can hand you a million dollars, and [depression] will smother any joy you feel right into the ground. The more you try and 'look at the bright side,' the worse it makes you feel."
He counts on medicine and therapy to keep him moving forward, but he's also very aware that this is something he'll have to deal with this the rest of his life. He did offer up hope for others who may be fighting a similar battle.
Quote, "If you ever find yourself feeling this way, know there are so many helpful options you can seek out. And while you won't ever be cured, your quality of life will greatly increase."
