The 96th Academy Awards were last night, and Eddie made a bet with Mike D for who would and wouldn’t win in some of the biggest categories.
The bet was if Cillian Murphy won Actor In A Leading Role for his role in Oppenheimer and if Christopher Nolan won the Directing award for Oppenheimer, Eddie would pay Mike D $100. But if they lost, Mike D owed him the money. They both won, so Eddie lost and paid Mike D as soon as it happened. Mike D has his Movie Mike's Movie Podcast and keeps up to date with all the latest films, so Eddie wanted to bet against him, but in the end, Mike D proved he knew what he was talking about and his predictions were correct!
