Mr. Parker McCollum was in town last night with his fiance to watch his team the Houston Astros get spanked by the Sox! OK I was alerted of his presence early on, but I decided not to track him down as I didn't want our first verbal communication to be me smack talking his team.
Last night Papelbon was also in the house to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. As my friends and I walked into Fenway I had one of those moments where you are faced with someone you know/recognize but it's so quick you don't place it. On our way to beer line that moment happened and I said to my friend Christina "I feel like I know that person". Then came the first pitch and it clicked... I had been face to face with Jonathan Papelbon!
Last night was a blast!!! Made me miss playing ball so much. On to Game 4!!! Where will you be watching tonight?
